"Hymns in the Keys of JAZZ"

Recording of Unique Live Concert Event!!

VISION MUSIC announces the much anticipated CD release of "Hymns in the Key of JAZZ - Live", Ron Gutierrez' 2007 concert featuring guitarist Rod Fleeman (Diane Schuur, Karrin Allyson).

The event also marked the debuts of Aggie and Shyann Gutierrez, Ron's wife and daughter. The concert, a benefit for the "Heroes to Hometowns" program to provide financial and other support for severely-wounded soldiers returning from overseas, was an overwhelming success.

The music for "Hymns In the Key of Jazz" comes straight from the hymnal, performed in a contemporary jazz/gospel style. Each song is recognizable, but with a new twist. Read the album song list or the dedication...
