The concert is part of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.
If you missed the live show, here is your opportunity to hear “A Big Band Christmas”, featuring Ron and the incredible Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Kerry Strayer - Kansas City’s very own “Mr. Christmas”! So, grab some egg-nog, light up the tree, and swing to some Christmas tunes with the entire family!

Ron will be stepping in as the Featured Artist on The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra’s Christmas Concerts this Friday at the Unity Temple on the Plaza and Saturday at Liberty Hall in Lawrence. Ron says “My friend Kevin Mahogany was originally slated to appear with the KCJO and has been sidelined back home in Miami with a knee injury.
Replacing a world-class talent is never easy but I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the shows and hope you can still join this incredible band as they help heat up the Holiday Season! My prayers and best wishes to Kevin for a speedy recovery and a Merry(er) Christmas!”
